Barbara Ida de Haan was born and raised in the Netherlands, but has lived in Norway since 1998.

She is an educated collections manager and has studied paper conservation, as well as various management subjects at BI.

She was the project manager for the relocation of Munch Museum’s collections from Tøyen to Bjørvika.

Previously, Barbara has worked as a cultural director and cultural center manager, and has held positions at the National Museum and Munch Museum. She has many years of experience in cultural education and as a leader.
