Often, we present the history of directors and important production years at Porsgrund Porcelain Factory. But who did the work on the assembly line? Who were the hankie boy, the kiln master, and the porcelain packer?

In the exhibition “Working Class Hero”, you will meet some of those who worked at the factory. We have created an exhibition based on a 1911 image that was given to us by Tom Hellerich and which shows 50 workers. From this image, we have contacted relatives, interviewed some of them, and told their story here in the exhibition.
