Tone Dietrichsons bilde I det vide ville

Tone Dietrichson (born 1957, Oslo) is a renowned artist of great stature and has collaborated with Morten Krogvold, Håkon Bleken, and Bjarne Melgaard. Originally a sculptor, she has worked across a wide range of artistic expressions since the 1990s. In recent years, she has delved deeply into Ibsen’s world, stating that his literature provides a unique insight into who we are as human beings—through conflict, thoughts, inner strategies, and reflections.

“The deeper one searches, the more there is to discover in Henrik Ibsen’s literature.” – Tone Dietrichson

This exhibition showcases a selection of works from exhibitions based on two of Ibsen’s masterpieces: The Wild Duck and Peer Gynt. The exhibited pieces are prints of the originals, signed and hand-colored by the artist.
