Henrik Ibsen Museum \u2013 Ibsen 2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Project period: 2014-2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Main objective:<\/strong> Telemark Museum is working towards the opening of a restored and renewed year-round Henrik Ibsen Museum in 2028, along with securing the necessary operational funding. In celebration of Henrik Ibsen\u2019s 200th anniversary in 2028, Ibsen\u2019s childhood home will be restored according to conservation principles. We will also develop the entire museum complex at Venst\u00f8p, including a climate-controlled barn, as well as the garden and outdoor areas, so that the museum appears more authentic, with a renewed presentation of Henrik Ibsen\u2019s biography and literature.<\/p>\n

We were absolutely thrilled when we learned that the restoration project at the Henrik Ibsen Museum is receiving 11.5 million NOK, and that the VEV museum building in Brekkeparken is getting 2 million NOK in the state budget. What a Christmas gift! <\/span><\/div>\n
