On Saturday, April 25, you can visit Theodor Kittelsen’s childhood home completely free of charge, between 12:00 and 3:00 PM. Welcome!

The artist Theodor Kittelsen was born in a small house in the center of Kragerø on April 27, 1857.
The Kittelsen family lived here during the first years of Theodor’s life, and today the house is a museum open during the summer season.
On Saturday, April 25, you can get a sneak peek inside the childhood home before the season opens. Explore the beautiful digital Nøkken exhibition, shop in the museum store, and enjoy the atmosphere of the small, cozy house.
The event is part of Kittelsen Week in Kragerø.
