Christine Hermansen has worked her way up, as the saying goes.
She started as a guide and cleaning staff at the museum. Later, she led several major projects, was responsible for events, and served as head of the public department and head of the exhibitions department.

Christine holds a master’s degree in art history and has studied museum studies, museology, and project management, to name a few areas.

She has worked as an advisor in the cultural department of the Telemark County Municipality, with responsibilities including the museum sector, funding schemes for cultural volunteers, and performing arts. She is also active in local politics and the local cultural scene.
