The exhibition is suitable for children and adults, especially the drawers and cabinets in the secret room will spark children’s curiosity.
We had a mantra in the process of creating this exhibition, and that is “not to fall into the theme trap”! Each room you enter should give you a unique experience and show you plenty of objects you may not have known you were curious about.
In short, here you will see a large selection of objects that the museum has collected over the years. The tour will give you an overall experience of the exhibition, but we hope you will come back or explore on your own later.
You can buy a single ticket, or use the annual pass. Children under three are free.
The museum does not preserve things for itself, but for the people. Come and see what we are preserving for you – this is also yours! And all the stories that all the things, photos and old documents tell, are also yours. And your children’s and grandchildren’s.
This exhibition features items that have not been displayed to the public in over 100 years, while others have been displayed before and have also been loaned to other museums for a long time. We have also invited 17 members of the public to participate in determining the content of the exhibition by choosing an item or photo from the museum’s collection to be included in both the exhibition and the accompanying book.
