The exhibition was opened by daughter Guri Sandnes and former director of Porsgrund Porcelain Factory, Stein Devik. Mats Linders new book was also presented, and it can be purchased in the museum shop.

Chief Designer

“Eystein Sandnes is best known as a designer for Porsgrund Porcelain Factory, where he worked for 33 years, primarily as a chief designer. But what many do not know is that his work is far more extensive than that. Short stays at Magnor Glass Works and Stavanger Flint have left their mark. Other projects are less well-lit. Showcasing the breadth of his repertoire is important to highlight the versatility of his career” – Mats Linder.
