Every day at 1:00 PM during the summer season, you can join a guided tour of the beautiful country house.

You will learn more about the tradition of country houses in Kragerø and the history of the Homann family, who played an important role both locally and nationally. Dr. Homann Jr. was instrumental in the development of Norway’s first national public health legislation and in disease control during outbreaks.
You will also hear the story of Jeia Homann, who laid the foundation for the Berg–Kragerø Museum. Jeia was a colourful and well-known figure in the local community, and her story is told here as well. The tour is suitable for the whole family.
Meeting point: the café in the exhibition building.
