Bjørn is employed as Project Management Leader for Construction and Financing. Leading up to Henrik Ibsen’s anniversary year in 2028, his main responsibility is to manage the building and restoration project at the Henrik Ibsen Museum, in a 50 percent position.

The remaining 50 percent of his time will be dedicated to DuVerden’s project, Green World. This project involves work on a new building and the financing of it.

Previous Experience
Bjørn previously led the construction project of the new VEV building, which was completed in Brekkeparken in April 2021.
He has also managed several other projects at the Telemark Museum, including the construction and establishment of DuVerden Maritime Museum and Science Center in Porsgrunn.

Bjørn holds a master’s degree in non-fiction writing, has authored and published several books, and has also served as Head of Culture.
