Hans H. Holta was the museum’s first chairman (Fylkesmuseet for Telemark og Grenland, now Telemark Museum) in the years 1909-1941. It was Holta who took the initiative to buy Søndre Brekke Manor, which was converted into a museum.
Hans and his family lived at Lagmannsgården in Frogner. This stroller was given to the museum by two of his daughters, Sofie and Ingeborg. According to them, the stroller was purchased around the year 1900. This type of stroller was used from the 1880s.
