At Café Aall Inn, you and your friends will have a great time! You can sit indoors, or outdoors on the terrace, and enjoy the view of the park while drinking a good cup of coffee and eating ice cream after your guided tour.

Aall Inn has a little bit of everything: Cakes, waffles, ice cream, sandwiches, soups and salads. We also offer a selection of coffees, raspberry lemonade from Lien farm, apple juice from Vestre Borge farm, fizzy drinks, and other nice, cold drinks. We are licenced to serve alcohol.

During the summer season

Summer offer, 1 May–31 August

If you want lunch and dinner, Brekkeparken Café is the place for you. The old, venerable café is located at the other end of the park, with a large outdoor area and plenty of seating indoors. You will be sitting on the roof of Skien, and you will have a view of the start of the Telemark canal, the beautiful church and the entire cityscape.
Outside the summer season, you can book the premises and food service for your events, e.g. birthdays, weddings, memorials, confirmations.

About the name “Aall Inn”

Aall Inn is named after the 1814 minister Niels Aall, who lived in the old, stately manor house next to the new and modern museum building.
We often say that we go “all in” when we are doing something. Here, the café’s name also means that you are invited to experience Aall’s 1814 history. You can buy tickets for guided tours at the combined café and reception desk. You will meet skilled guides who are happy to take you for a tour in the park, in the manor house, or in the new building. We also have activities for children.
